About Me

I come from a family of teachers but I’ve spent my entire career in and around the law. Beginning with summers as a file clerk for a solo practitioner in the Hudson Valley, I’ve worked as a paralegal, a litigation attorney in large corporate law firms, the managing partner of a fast growing family law firm, the founding director and lead practice management advisor at a practice management advisory program, an adjunct law professor teaching law practice management, and a senior executive leading a seven figure cross functional education, services and membership team at a statewide bar association.

Like a lot of people, the pandemic gave me a lot of time and perspective to think about what I really want from my work, and I returned to the through line of teaching, writing and helping lawyers shape their practices to work for them, not the other way around. I work with individuals and organizations to help them reign use technology and strategic business practices to reign in chaos, build systems, and grow their practices in smart, sustainable ways.
